Rafael is a professional salsa dancer from Colombia. His passion for dance derives from the ability that dance gives you to express freely through body movement. He has been a dancer for 22 years. He first started in the World of Dance as part of his school dance team. After graduating high school, he joined a Salsa team in Colombia, where he danced competitively and professionally for seven years. He competed and won national competitions in the Salsa cabaret group and couple categories. He combines his passion for dancing with his 11-year background in teaching. Full time Rafael works as a Spanish teacher, and has experience working with students of various ages.
